Chicana/o Studies Professor Has Danced on Stages Around the World

Annette Cardona once made her living acting and dancing across stages around the world. Her name was ingrained in history for her portrayal of the iconic Cha Cha in the 1978 movie musical “Grease.” No one else matched her signature moves on the dance floor as she mixed it up with John Travolta and other cast members, her arms and legs attacking the music’s beat.
