The California State University Board of Trustees has launched a search for a new president of the Northridge campus by appointing a four-member Committee that includes CSUN Alumna Debra Farar ’75 (English) and ’87 (Education).

As California continues to face budget crisis after budget crisis, the roles nonprofits play in filling the ever-widening gaps in the safety net become even more critical.

In an effort to further strengthen the alumni connection to California State University, Northridge, the Office of Alumni Relations has moved to a new home.

“Don’t apologize for who you are” and “face your demons” journalist Jeannette Walls told hundreds of freshmen who attended California State University, Northridge’s annual Freshman Convocation on Thursday, Sept. 8. “There is no shame in falling.
