Halloween Event Benefits CSUN’s Music Therapy Wellness Clinic

This Halloween, New York comes to Hollywood to support Cal State Northridge’s Music Therapy Wellness Clinic at a family-centered celebration at the CBS Studio Center on Sunday, Oct. 31.

“New York in Hollywood” be a fun-filled family-day fundraising event that directly benefits the CSUN Music Therapy Wellness Clinic in the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media and Communications. The work of the CSUN music therapy clinicians has made a profound difference in the lives of children with autism, Down syndrome and other diagnoses.

Gates open at 4 p.m. There will be Halloween-themed activities such as a haunted house, costume contest, Halloween make-up sessions, trick-or-treating and more. The CBS Studio Center is located at 4024 Radford Ave. in Studio City.

The celebrity host for this year wulll be two-time Golden Globe nominee and Independent Spirit Award winner, Laura San Giacomo, star of “Sex, Lies & Videotape,” “Pretty Woman,” “Just Shoot Me,” “Veronica Mars,” and “Saving Grace.” In addition, Arturo Sandoval and his all-star band, and Jerry Buck and the Bang will be performing live on stage.
