Amgen veteran & CSUN accounting alum Carl Adams joins CNM LLP to lead accounting & transactions advisory business

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–CNM LLP, an independent accounting and advisory services firm, today announced the appointment of Carl Adams to head CNM’s Accounting & Transactions Advisory service line.

Mr. Adams has more than 14 years of financial accounting experience including nearly nine years at Ernst & Young LLP in its audit practice. At Ernst & Young LLP, Mr. Adams served as an Audit Senior Manager on start-ups as well as large multinational companies. Prior to joining CNM, Mr. Adams spent five years in leadership roles as an Associate Director and Director in the SEC Reporting and Corporate Accounting areas at Amgen, Inc. In these roles, he was responsible for SEC reporting and technical accounting matters in all areas affecting Amgen, Inc., as well as Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

Mr. Adams resides in Newbury Park, Calif. and is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Mr. Adams graduated from California State University, Northridge, and obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in California.
