BURBANK, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–My Eye Media (www.myeyemedia.com), a leading technical and postproduction services company providing solutions and consultancy to major Hollywood motion picture studios and independent content producers, has announced the promotion of Kenneth Kiers to the position of Senior Vice President of Operations.

The announcement was made by My Eye Media CEO Michael Kadenacy.

In his newly expanded role, Kiers will be responsible for directing and overseeing My Eye Media’s day-to-day quality assurance process and technical services operation, including security, operational workflow and allocation of resources.

“Ken’s new position will work toward maximizing resources, growth and profitability through cross-training of quality assurance personnel and conducting research and development of new equipment,” Kadenacy said. “He’s a world-class postproduction executive whose contribution to the success of My Eye Media is immeasurable.”

Kiers graduated from Southern Illinois University with a BA Degree in Radio & Television. After a stint on local television, he worked as an editor in Los Angeles. He subsequently joined The Walt Disney Company, where he coordinated mastering for Buena Vista International Television under Kadenacy. Kiers then moved over to Buena Vista Home Video Feature Mastering, where he worked on the studio’s first-ever animated feature file conversion for Digital Cinema. He also worked on many of Disney’s first High Definition transfers.

Utilizing his digital mastering expertise, Kiers became an independent quality control specialist and technical consultant. In 2005, Kadenacy called upon Kiers to join My Eye Media as Vice President of Operations, supervising the day-to-day work of the company.

LEENER TAPPED AS HR VP

Kadenacy also announced that Craig Leener has joined the company as Vice President of Human Resources.

According to Kadenacy, Leener will provide a full complement of human resources services and work closely with company management to develop, coordinate and administrate HR strategies and policies to ensure they are implemented effectively, fairly and uniformly.

“Craig will play a key role in developing HR programs that nurture the unique and vibrant culture across our company,” Kadenacy said. “He brings a wealth of experience to My Eye Media, and we’re fortunate to have him on the team.”

Leener was most recently Manager of Human Resources for the Media Division of Ascent Media Group. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Administration at Technicolor Creative Services Glendale (formerly Vidfilm International Digital) and Executive Director of The Walt Disney Company’s Buena Vista Worldwide Services Division.

He began his career as a vault clerk at Warner Bros. and was ultimately elevated to Director of Film Operations, where he oversaw worldwide theatrical release printing and the company’s library restoration program. A graduate of California State University, Northridge, Leener is also an award-winning sports journalist.
