NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—Dominic D’Anna drove in three runs and Cal State-Northridge scored a combined five runs in the seventh and eighth innings to come from behind and defeat Texas Tech 8-4 on Friday.
Trailing 4-3 in the seventh, the Matadors (2-3) tied the score on a solo shot by John Parham and went ahead on D’Anna’s two-run blast. Jeff Pruitt added on some insurance runs an inning later with a two-run single.
D’Anna also had an RBI single in the fourth.
Taylor Ashby hit a solo home run for Texas Tech (5-2). Justin Berry was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
