S.D. exec named to Cal State board

Linda Lang, chairwoman and chief executive officer for Jack in the Box, has been appointed to the California State University board of trustees.

Lang, 50, of Rancho Santa Fe, who was appointed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, is a member of the San Diego State University College of Business Advisory Board and is a board member of the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corp. and the Jack in the Box Foundation.

Lang has a master’s degree in business administration from San Diego State University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of California Berkeley.

The position requires state Senate confirmation and the salary is $100 per diem for meetings.
