The Desert Sun
College of the Desert’s Upward Bound program will give students a taste a living and dining at a university residence hall from July 26-31.
Students will get to stay at the Cal State University, Northridge. Several activities are planned throughout the event, including a 12-hour academic class focused on the historical, political, and financial aspects of education.
Students will practice taking notes in a college class-like setting and participate in study hall. There will campus tours and admissions presentations at from Cal State Northridge, UCLA and Cal Lutheran University.
