Thomas Bruce Bain of Spring Hill, Fla., formerly of Wilton, died at his home on Tuesday, July 21. He was 84 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; son Thomas and his wife, Debbie, and grandchildren Kayla, Anna, and Ella; son Bill and his wife, Lisa, and grandchildren Patricia and David; and son Robert and his wife, Andrea.
Mr. Bain, known as “Bruce,” was born in Oak Park, Ill., in 1925. He served in the Navy during World War II and then graduated from Northwestern University. He completed his master’s in business administration degree at California State University Northridge. He retired from Chesebrough-Ponds CT in 1988.
He will be remembered for his integrity, his commitment, and his wonderful dry sense of humor, his family said.
A Christian, he attended Mariner United Methodist Church. The family requests no flowers. Memorials may be given to the endowment fund of Mariner United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be conducted at Mariner United Methodist Church on July 31 at 2.
Pinecrest Funeral Chapel in Spring Hill, Fla.(pinecrestfuneralchapel.com), handled arrangements.
