Sober living problems
Re “Sober living homes” (Letters, Sept. 24):
The writer talks about sober living homes in their neighborhoods and the noise, trash and total disregard for the traffic and the rest of the people in the area - with no help from LAPD.
I know the problems they have and are going through, but I’m not talking about sober living homes. I’m talking about the same problems brought on from a rented house by Cal State Northridge University students. The only difference is the students are a night problem.
Call LAPD, you say. Well, they are of little or no help, because this situation is at the bottom of their priority list and not that important to their duties. It is up to the neighborhood to figure out its own answers.
