Alum Joan Warren has died

Family-Placed Death Notice

WARREN, Joan Joan Warren Mrs. Joan Warren, age 75, of Marietta, GA passed away on Monday, October 19, 2009 from ovarian cancer. She was born in Barboursville, West Virginia and received a BA from California State Northridge University in 1975. She married Donald Warren in 1955 and became an Army chaplain’s wife, travelling throughout the world. Joan lived in Atlanta since 1988 and had been an employee of Superior Cable and Optimum Physician Services. She was also a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church. Joan is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald Warren and numerous nieces and nephews primarily in Tennessee, Michigan, Colorado, and Ohio. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 23rd at 1 pm Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Wil Parker officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt.
