FAQs on 2008-09 Budget Situation
Last month, California passed the 2008-09 state budget.
Given the difficulties in reaching agreement on a final state budget in the current economic environment, it’s understandable that many people will have questions about how the new budget will affect the University, as well as different constituencies such as students and employees.
In response to questions that have been raised as I have met with various groups on campus, and in anticipation of other questions, FAQs on the 2008-09 budget situation have been posted.
As any new developments or announcements related to the budget arise, I will be sure to keep the campus community updated through this blog and other communications.
