From the LA Times&#8217; report<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auditor.ca.gov\/reports\/2016-122\/introduction.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">audit<\/a>, titled \u201cCalifornia State University: Stronger Oversight is Needed for Hiring and Compensating Management Personnel and for Monitoring Campus Budgets,\u201d specifically found that between fiscal years 2007-08 and 2015-16, the number of full-time equivalent \u201cmanagement personnel\u201d \u2014 which includes administrators, supervisors and other professional staff \u2014 grew by 15%. Over the same period, the number of faculty rose by 7%, while non-faculty support staff rose 6%.<\/p>\n<p>The audit found that the six campuses it reviewed could not justify the growth in new management personnel. One campus, <a id=\"OREDU000793\" title=\"California Polytechnic State University\" href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/topic\/education\/colleges-universities\/california-polytechnic-state-university-OREDU000793-topic.html\">California Polytechnic State University<\/a>, San Luis Obispo, increased pay for at least 70 management personnel in 2016 who either had outdated performance evaluations or no evaluations on file.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/local\/lanow\/la-me-cal-state-audit-20170420-story.html\">http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/local\/lanow\/la-me-cal-state-audit-20170420-story.html<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>President Harrison had Human Resources compile the growth rates for CSUN.
