During their time in Qingdao and Beijing, our students visited one university and multiple businesses, where they were able to learn about how each individual business operates. Their first stop was Qingdao Dellware Refrigeration Co., Ltd in Qingdao, a commercial refrigerator manufacturing company and certified supplier to well-known companies such as Pepsi, Haagen-Dazs, and Coca Cola.
Next, our students got to witness the manufacturing process of metal parts at Qingdao P&P Metal Products Co., Ltd.
Their third stop was at the headquarters of home appliance manufacturer Haier Group Corporation, where they learned the history of appliances such as televisions.
While at Haier, they also learned about the company’s history and their strategies in diversifying and expanding their business into international markets.
The Qingdao Binhai University also welcomed our students to tour its facility. While at Qingdao Binhai University, our students took a painting class, attended special presentations, and even engaged in a friendly sports game with the university’s students.
