What is the Institute?

You arrive at the train station, suitcase in tow. The board of departure times and destinations looms above you, and other travelers buzz past. You know approximately where you need to go; the ticket kiosks are to your right, and each line has its own doorway. However, the whole ordeal is still a little overwhelming, and you find yourself wondering if there is anyone who can guide you to exactly what ticket to buy and which doorway to go through so you reach your destination in time.

The Institute of Community Health and Wellbeing is that guide when it comes to health resources in the San Fernando Valley. The Institute is a central connection point to the network of resources available to the community. If a community member knows they need help, but is unsure of where to find it, they can come to the Institute and get connected to a myriad of affiliated community resources.
